What Fair Go X magazine is
Fair Go X is a magazine Fair Go publishes itself, on its own website. Its schedule, per Fair Go: New edition every 3 months. When we checked on 9 October 2026, the current issue was edition No. 23. It sits on the promotions page next to the bonuses, and the pitch is simple: read the magazine, find bonus codes inside. Our register records the offer as: Free-to-read magazine; Fair Go says Edition 23 has 30+ exclusive codes (free spins, free cash, deposit bonuses). Each edition also carries Kev's adventures, stories about players and a section of tips.
Think of it as a long-form newsletter with coupons. It's marketing, made by the casino to keep players coming back, and that's worth remembering as you read.
What's inside an edition
Fair Go describes four regular ingredients:
- Bonus codes. The reason the magazine sits on the promotions page. Each code has its own terms.
- Kev's adventures. Comic stories starring Fair Go's koala, in the same spirit as Koala's Diary.
- Player stories. Fair Go presents these as real wins. We can't verify them, so we don't repeat them.
- Tips and game breakdowns. Handy for learning how a feature works; no help at all for beating the house, as explained below.
Why we don't list Fair Go X codes
Every code on fairgo.mobi is logged in our register with the date we checked it on Fair Go's own pages. Magazine codes aren't logged, and they're tied to editions that Fair Go says are replaced every few months. Rather than print codes we haven't checked, we point you to the current edition and show you how to test any code before you deposit. If a magazine code turns out to be one of Fair Go's standing codes, our bonus codes page has its checked terms, and the code changelog shows when the codes we track last changed.
How to judge a magazine code
A code is only as good as its terms. Before you paste one, find these five things in the magazine or the cashier:
- The offer: a match, free spins or free credit.
- The minimum deposit, if there is one.
- The wagering. If the code doesn't say, Fair Go's defaults apply: 30x on deposit plus bonus for deposit offers and 60x for free ones.
- Any cash-out cap. Free-money offers default to $180 unless they say otherwise.
- The end date, so a code doesn't lapse halfway through your plans.
Then put a price on it. For a deposit code without its own wagering line, every $100 of deposit plus bonus means $3,000 of bets, which costs about $120 on average at our cautious 96% return to player. For a free code, every $10 of winnings means $600 of bets. The wagering calculator does the sums for any numbers you find.
Tips, hacks and the house edge
Casino magazines love a "hack". Here's the honest version: no betting pattern, timing trick or way of reading the reels changes what a pokie pays over time. Every spin is settled by a random number generator, and the return to player is fixed by the game's design. Fair Go says its pokies average around 97%; that's the casino's own figure, and it describes the very long run, not your next session.
Tips that explain how a bonus round triggers or what a feature does are genuinely useful. Tips that promise more wins are marketing. If a tip pushes you to bet bigger or play longer, skip it. Our wagering requirements guide shows why longer play costs more, not less, and the max cash-out guide explains the limits that apply to free-money wins.
Reading Fair Go X on your phone
Magazines are long and image-heavy, so open one on Wi-Fi if your data allowance is tight. Read the code section first, screenshot any code you want together with its terms and close the magazine before you head to the cashier. On a phone, codes go in the Coupon tab, and they go in before you deposit, never after.
