What Fair Go Koala Monday actually promises
Here's the listing in full: "Bonus scales with deposit size, Mondays". The code is KOALAMO. There's no published minimum deposit, no table of tiers, no cap and no wagering figure. "Scales with deposit size" tells you the shape of the deal: a bigger deposit unlocks a bigger bonus, either a higher percentage, a higher dollar amount or both. It doesn't tell you where the steps sit.
We won't fill that gap with numbers from other bonus sites. Tiers on reload offers get tweaked, and a figure copied from a forum is as likely to be last year's as this week's. What we can do is show you how to read the tiers when you see them, and what the deposit side of the deal costs under Fair Go's general rules.
Reading the tiers in the cashier
Log in on a Monday, open the cashier and enter KOALAMO before you pick an amount. Then check five things:
- The entry point. The smallest deposit that earns anything. That's the minimum Fair Go hasn't published.
- The percentage at each step. Write them down. A jump from one step to the next is where the value is.
- Any cap. A cap per tier changes the maths at the top end, the same way WELCOME stops at $200 a claim.
- Repeat use. Whether the code works once per Monday or on more than one Monday deposit.
- Extras. Whether any tier adds spins, and which game they're on.
A screenshot of that screen is worth having. If the bonus that lands doesn't match the tier you chose, it's your evidence for live chat.
Pricing a Fair Go Koala Monday bonus
Because the tiers aren't public, we can't price the bonus itself. We can price the part you control. With no wagering on the offer, Fair Go's general rule is the working assumption: 30x on deposit plus bonus. That means the deposit alone carries a wagering bill before any bonus is added:
| Monday deposit | Bets from the deposit alone | Average cost at 96% RTP |
|---|---|---|
| $50 | $1,500 | $60 |
| $100 | $3,000 | $120 |
| $200 | $6,000 | $240 |
Then add 30x times whatever bonus the cashier shows. If a $100 deposit unlocked a bonus of B dollars, the total bill would be $3,000 plus 30x × B. Plug the real numbers into the wagering calculator once you've seen them: enter the tier's percentage as the match and its cap, if any, as the cap.
Bigger deposit, bigger bill
A scaling bonus is designed to nudge the deposit up a notch. Sometimes that's fine: if you were going to deposit at the higher tier anyway, the bigger match is pure upside. But a top-up made only to reach the next step has to be judged on its own: the extra deposit adds 30x times itself to the wagering, plus 30x times the extra bonus. And the $10 bet limit puts a floor under how long that takes. A $6,000 bill needs at least 600 bets even at the maximum stake.
Koala Monday against your other Monday options
Monday is the busiest day on Fair Go's calendar, so KOALAMO isn't the only thing on the table:
- Fun Monday. FUNMON spins arrive on Monday for a deposit made between Saturday and Monday. A Monday deposit falls inside that window too.
- WELCOME. If you're still working through the five welcome claims, a Monday deposit could carry WELCOME instead. Its terms are published in full, which KOALAMO's aren't.
- Cashback. Skip the code and a bonus-free deposit that busts qualifies for 25% instant cashback on busted deposits made without a bonus, via support.
Fair Go's listings don't say whether two codes can share one deposit. Plan as if each deposit carries one coupon unless live chat tells you otherwise.
When to give Koala Monday a miss
Skip it if you might want to withdraw soon, because a bonus ties the deposit to the playthrough. Skip it if you mainly play table games, since the offer doesn't say how different games count towards wagering. And skip it on any Monday you'd be depositing only to chase a tier. The code will be back next week; Fair Go lists it as a weekly promotion. The bonus codes page has every other code if a different one suits the deposit better, and if Mondays have started to feel like a habit you'd rather break, our responsible gambling page lists free help.
