What the Fair Go Koala's Diary is
Most casino promotions are banners. Koala's Diary is a story. Kev, Fair Go's koala mascot, writes a short diary entry about his latest scrape, and the entry ends with a bonus for readers. Older entries stay on the page as an archive, so you can scroll back through Kev's adventures. When we looked in October 2026, that was the format: a short tale, then the treat.
That makes the diary different from the codes on our Fair Go bonus codes page. Those are standing promotions on Fair Go's promotions page, checked and dated. Diary bonuses are one-offs tied to an entry, with their own small print and their own end dates.
Kev's current diary code
Kev's latest entry, posted 6 October 2026, signs off with a code. It's short-lived, so check the end date before you plan around it.

Every code on fairgo.mobi comes from a register we check against Fair Go's own pages, with the date we saw it. Diary codes go in the same way, but they only show here until Fair Go's end date. After that this card gives way to a pointer to Kev's latest entry, so you never copy an expired code from us. Our methodology page explains how a code earns its place on the site.
How to judge a Koala's Diary bonus
Diary entries usually spell out their own terms, and those always win. Where an entry is silent, Fair Go's general terms fill the gaps:
| If the bonus is | Fair Go's default | Worked example |
|---|---|---|
| Free spins or free credit, no deposit | 60x wagering, $180 max cash-out | $20 of spin winnings needs $1,200 of bets |
| A deposit match | 30x on deposit + bonus | A $50 deposit matched with $50 needs $3,000 of bets |
| Anything you're wagering | $10 max bet | Every spin or hand at $10 or less until it's cleared |
Check three more things the defaults don't cover: whether the bonus needs a recent deposit, which game any spins are on and the end date. A diary treat with a short shelf life is easy to miss if you only check the page now and then.
Kev's other promotions
Kev turns up all over Fair Go's promotions, and two of his offers are standing codes we do track and date:
- KOALAMO, Koala Monday: Bonus scales with deposit size, Mondays. Our Koala Monday guide covers how it scales.
- BUSHMAGIC, for Kev's own pokie: 200% bonus + 25 free spins, with a $60 minimum deposit. See the Kev's Bush Bonanza bonus for the full terms.
Kev's Bush Bonanza itself is a Fair Go exclusive. Fair Go lists these features for it:
- Fair Go exclusive
- 50 paylines
- 50,000x top award
- Fortune Link feature
- Super Grand Jackpot
- Medium volatility
- Aussie outback theme
Reading the diary on your phone
The diary is a long, picture-heavy page, so give it a moment on mobile data. Open Fair Go in your phone's browser, find Koala's Diary in the menu and start with the newest entry. If an entry has a code, copy it, then paste it in the Coupon tab before you deposit, the same way you'd redeem any Fair Go code.
If a diary code doesn't work, the usual suspects apply: it has expired, it needs a deposit you haven't made, or it's already been used on your account. Live chat can tell you which. Our code changelog records changes to the standing codes we track, which helps rule out a code that has simply been replaced.
The pictures in the diary
The diary's illustrations are some of Fair Go's most playful artwork: Kev admiring his moustache in a mirror, Kev in a bow tie at the races, Kev on the couch with a bucket of popcorn. You'll spot them around this site too, because they're Fair Go's own images.
