How the Fair Go casino refer a friend scheme works
The promotions page puts it in one line: $75 per referred friend who signs up and deposits. Behind that line there are four moving parts:
- You get a personal referral link from inside your Fair Go account.
- You share it with a friend.
- Your friend joins Fair Go through that link, not through a search or someone else's link.
- Your friend makes a deposit, and the $75 is earned for you.
Fair Go's own Refer and Earn page goes further than the promotions listing:
- Your friend's deposit: Referred friend's first deposit of at least $25.
- Payday: On the 1st working day of the month, per Fair Go.
- The playthrough: Referrer must wager the Refer a Friend bonus at least 5 times before withdrawing; earnings are held until the playthrough is done.
- The conditions: Referrer must have made at least one deposit, have a balance under $1 and no pending withdrawals; friend must be a new player from a different household; no limit on referrals.
What the $75 is really worth
A reward with a playthrough is bonus money until you've bet it the required number of times. Fair Go's Refer and Earn page sets that at 5 times, so each $75 reward needs $375 of bets before it can be withdrawn. At our cautious 96% return to player, that much betting costs about $15 on average, which leaves most of the reward intact. That's a gentler deal than a deposit bonus at Fair Go's 30x default on deposit plus bonus, where the average cost can outrun the bonus itself.
To try other numbers, open the wagering calculator, enter $75 as the deposit, set the match to 0% and the multiple to 5. Fair Go's $10 max bet applies while you play any bonus through, so keep your stake under it.
Who counts as a friend
The listing only says the friend must sign up and deposit. Fair Go's general rules and plain common sense fill in the rest:
- Adults only. Fair Go's minimum age is 18+.
- New to Fair Go, from another household. Fair Go's Refer and Earn conditions ask for a new player from a different household; someone who already has an account doesn't fit.
- Able to play where they live. Fair Go's terms exclude players in some countries from bonuses, and Fair Go is an offshore casino that isn't licensed in Australia. ACMA may block it.
- A real, separate person. Never open an account for someone else, or a second one for yourself. Casinos treat that as fraud, and it can cost both accounts.
Refer and Earn etiquette
A referral link turns a recommendation into a sales pitch, so use it with care:
- Only send it to adults who already gamble and enjoy it. Don't use it to talk someone into starting.
- Never send it to anyone who's cutting back, or who has told you gambling is a problem for them.
- Say up front that you're paid if they join. Your mate deserves to know the $75 is in it for you.
- Keep it out of places under-18s will see, such as public social posts or group chats with teenagers.
- Point them to the full terms and to the help lines in our footer, not just the bonus.
We hold ourselves to the same standard. We're paid as an affiliate when someone joins Fair Go through our links, which is why every page says so and why our affiliate disclosure explains it in full.
Does your friend get anything?
The Refer and Earn listing describes only the referrer's reward. Your friend arrives as a new player, and new-player offers such as WELCOME and the BUBBLE15 no-deposit spins are aimed at people in exactly that position. Whether joining through a referral link changes anything about those offers isn't stated, so your friend should ask live chat before their first deposit.
